they are my fav, i got them about 4 months ago. they hurt, but not horribley. i had tough skin on the inside of my mouth tho because i bite them (i never noticed lol) so it was a little painful when it went thru there. but your tough. you can do it hehe. i do have problems with them sometimes, but i keep them clean, do sea salt soaks and all that good stuff, so they are pretty happy
i say get them, i think they are the cutest piercings ever.. AND you get perminent dimples! which are oh so cute.
