A/N: Yeah, that means I'm BACK! I'm sorry I take so long with updates, but my main priority is an original story I've been working on since July. And guess what, after almost a year... I'm FINALLY almost done. So once I manage to sit down and finish, that's what I'm MAINLY working on. So I appreciate your patience! And, I jinx myself every time I say this, but now that I've got filler/informational bits down (sorry guys, but there IS a bit more going to be thrown at you....) I should be a little quicker. Hopefully. And school is also almost over, so you know what that means T__T Yup. But that also means SUMMER' is-a-comin.

And I shall stop now for those that actually read these bits...

"Since when do Angels watch porn?!" Heechul yelled as soon as they were out of earshot.

Siwon put up his hands in defense, "Hey, hey! You're jumping to conclusions. I was just trying to figure out how to use that thing! It just... popped up..."

Heechul narrowed his eyes, "Oh yeah. It popped up and you didn't know how to close it for 7 minutes, eh?"

The Angel looked away, hesitant to respond. "Well, um... I was... curious as to what it was?"

"Great. Thanks to your curiosity, everyone at work is going to think I watch porn!" Heechul crossed his arms, turning away angrily, "Kyuhyun is going to tell Sungmin, and he, being Sungmin, is going to make sure the whole world knows."

"Well..." Siwon bit his lip as he tried to think of something. "Well... What guy doesn't at some point in his life? I'm not stupid. I've been here before. I've watched others. Don't tell me you never have before."

Heechul looked down, his cheeks suddenly red. Damn it, why did he have to be right? "Whatever. I just want to get home now..."

"Whatever you say, your highness." Siwon grumbled. This wasn't what he had in mind when he came down.

Heechul unlocked the door and dropped his bag on the sofa where Heebum usually sat. Well, he usually sat there. He stopped, raising an eyebrow, "Heebum?"

Siwon closed the door behind him, "What, the fur ball is no where to be seen?"

Heechul rolled his eyes, "He's probably just in the bedroom... He likes my bed too."

"A shame."

But he opened the door to find no cat . "Maybe..." He looked in the bathroom, "Heebum?" Still no feline. "Well, that's weird..." He walked back out into the living room, looking over at the Angel who had his head in the refrigerator, "Have you seen him yet?"

Siwon pulled out, looking a little confused. "Oh... Was I supposed to be looking?"

Heechul scoffed, "Well, aren't you nice." He continued to look around, getting on his knees and even looking under the couches.  "I bet you scared him into hiding."

"Because Angels the thing can't even see are so scary, right?" Siwon pulled a container from the fridge and opened it.

"He's probably special like me, then..." Heechul went back to the bedroom and looked under the bed, feeling sad when he didn't find anything. He walked back out into the living room, "Heebum's not here." He sat on the chair by the island and sighed, "Am I that bad an owner he would just run away?"

Siwon resisted rolling his eyes, instead finishing what he had been preparing and putting it in front of his charge, "He'll come back, I'm sure."

Heechul looked down at the sandwich, shrugged, then picked it up. Heebum would return. Nothing to be worried about, he would come back. He sighed after one bite, "I'm going to have to make posters later..." And then he took another bite.

Heechul groaned just as someone knocked on the door. "What on earth could anyone want?" He grumbled, getting off his bed where he had been lying comfortably, watching TV after having wandered around his neighborhood hanging a poster or two on every lamp post, on fences, on... you get the picture.

Siwon, who had been sitting on the chair, shrugged as his charge went to the door.

Heechul opened the front door, grumbling to himself. "Maybe someone found Heebum."

"Hello Heechul!" Greeted the cheery new Chinese man from work.

Heechul blinked. "Hankyung? What the hell are you doing here?"

Hankyung smiled before nodding forward. "May I come in?"

Heechul quickly got out of he way, letting the taller man into his apartment. He blushed and rubbed the back of his neck, "Uh... sorry it's kind of messy..."

Hankyung smiled again. 'He likes to smile, doesn't he?' Heechul thought. 'If only I could be so eternally happy...' The Chinese man sat down on the couch where Heebum usually sat. "It's fine, Heechul. My place is worse off. I just moved in yesterday."

Heechul chuckled, "So there's bigger messes after all?" He went over to the kitchen, "Can I get you anything by chance?"

Hankyung shook his head. "No. It's not like I'm going to be long. I just brought something you left in your locker."

Heechul's eyes widened. He knew he'd forgotten something! And now the good looking new guy had seen it. "Um..."

Hankyung, just as Heechul had guessed, took out the Bible. "I didn't know you were Christian." He said as he handed it over. "You don't seem like a very religious person."

Heechul swallowed. He had never been so embarrassed! And he wasn't one who got embarrassed easily as is. "I'm not actually Christian. I'm atheist..."

Hankyung chuckled, "Really? So am I!" He cocked his head to the side askance, "But why the Bible? You don't even believe in it."

Heechul glanced over at the door to his room where Siwon sat. He smiled And looked back at Hankyung, "Because, as a friend of mine says, it's amusing to see what silly things humans come up with."

Hankyung nodded, "You'll have to share some of your findings with me. Now I'm curious too."

Heechul shrugged and threw the Holy book onto the counter, "It's kind of boring..."

Hankyung nodded. "I see." He turned for the door. "I'll be going now."

"Wait!" Heechul reached forward for his arm. "You don't need to go yet. I'm making some tea. At least stay a little while longer."

Hankyung looked hesitant, but his eyes lit up with a smile on his face in the end. "Alright. But I need to be home by 9."

Heechul looked at the clock on his wall and laughed. "What are you rushing for? It's only 7:30! You still have an hour and a half!"

The Chinese man sat back down. "You're right."

Heechul smiled nicely and put on a kettle for tea. He then sat down on one of the chairs at the counter, facing his guest. "So who told you where I lived?"

"Sungmin was nice enough."

Heechul let out an amused snort. "Yes. Sungmin is oh so nice."

Hankyung held in a laugh.

Heechul got the kettle and poured the scalding water into a pot. "If you want, I might have some food somewhere that you might like."

"Don't worry about it hyung, tea is enough."

Heechul looked over at him, "What are you talking about? I bet you haven't even had dinner yet. I know I haven't." His eyes widened as the bedroom door opened. Heechul bit his lip to stop himself from yelling at the smirking Angel.

Hankyung followed the elder's gaze, raising an eyebrow, "What is it? I don't see anything..."

Heechul averted his eyes, still biting his lip, "It's... Nothing." He began pouring the tea, "So... Just curious... Did you happen to see a cat on the way here? Grey, kind of fat..."

Hankyung turned his head in surprise. He had been looking at a bunch of pictures on the bookshelf, "A cat?" He hesitated, "Not a grey one. Sorry." He picked up one particular frame and examined the picture inside. "Hyung?"

In the midst of pouring tea, Heechul looked up, "Yes? What can I..." He stopped when he saw what the Chinese man was holding, swallowing. Why that picture?

"Hyung. The tea." He said, not even looking up from the picture.

Heechul put the pot down right away, cursing as the hot liquid pooled across the counter, spilling over the edge. Damn. I'm making a fool out of myself in front of him!

"Careful..." Siwon whispered from behind him, chuckling lightly. Heechul grimaced, keeping from spinning around and verbally lashing out at the Angel in front of a guest who still thought he was more or less sane. Instead, he ignored the Angel as he went about.

Hankyung sat down on one of the island's chairs, putting the frame down. "You were cute as a kid, Heechul."

Heechul, finally finished cleaning up his mess, looked over his new co-worker's shoulder. "A lot has changed, I guess..." He tried a smile. "That was... 13 years ago? I believe I was 14 then (and if this author is doing her math right...)."

"Was she your girlfriend?"

Heechul restrained from snapping. Taking a deep breath, he said very calmly, "No. That's my sister. That was my sister. She was 10 in this picture."

Hankyung looked back, "Oh. I'm so sorry..."

Heechul merely shrugged, "It's fine. It's not like I could have done anything to prevent it. Hell, the police aren't even sure how she died, and they've had 4 years to figure it out so far." As hard as he was on the outside, seemingly emotionless, he hated talking about his late sister. He looked up when Siwon suddenly pushed away from the counter and hurried out of the room.

"She looks like she was very nice." Hankyung smiled, still staring at the picture.

Heechul quickly looked over, "What was that?" He had been too lost in his own world watching the door that had long been closed by the retreating Angel.

"I said she must have been really nice." He repeated, eyes still sparkling as he smiled.

"Yeah..." Heechul sighed, "Anyways..." He picked up the cup of tea that hadn't spilled over as he was pouring and put it in front of his guest, "If there's anything else you want, just say so."

Hankyung stood the frame up in front of him, "I'm fine."

"So..." The Korean of the pair pursed his lips, running a finger along the rim of the tea cup as he tried to think of something to fill the awkward silence. Hankyung seemed pleased, so the awkwardness must have been one sided. Which annoyed Heechul. "Well... Um... Why did you come to Korea, anyway?"

"Don't know." He shrugged, "I guess I was getting tired of China? I just felt like going somewhere new. The only relatives I have left are distant, since my parents died. It's not like there was anything tying me to China anymore..."

Heechul sighed, "Well, at least I'm not the only one to have lost someone. For me, my parents died when I turned 18, so I had to take care of my sister on my own."

"You've lost so many people..." Hankyung said softly. "My parents... Well, my father had cancer. After an 8 month battle, he couldn't fight it anymore. My mother... A car accident claimed her."

Heechul took a sip of his tea, "My parents died in a plane crash, actually. They were coming back from a vacation they had decided to take, just the two of them. Then the plane crashed. I, being the rebellious one of the family, had a party going when I got the call." He, for whatever reason, smiled as he begun telling the story

A beer bottle in hand, Heechul had been talking with Jungsu and some other friends from school. His parents were on vacation, leaving the house all to him and 14 year old Heejin. Could it get much more perfect? And figuring that, since his parents were on their way and would be back in Seoul by the morning, it was the perfect night for a party.

"Heechul!" Someone Heechul wasn't in the mood to recognize yelled, "Your phone is ringing!"

Heechul turned and could hear the faint ring of the phone. He shrugged and turned back to his friends.

Jungsu raised an eyebrow, "Aren't you going to get that?"

Heechul shrugged again, "Why bother?"

"But what if it's your parents?" The elder sounded worried. Jungsu always worried, whether it was about him or someone else. (Actually, mostly when it came to others. He could care less if something bad was going to happen to him, as long as everyone else was alright.)

"If I don't get it, Heejin will. And if she doesn't, they might think we're asleep. I mean, it's almost midnight anyway." He took a swig of his beer and continued bobbing his head to the music blasting through the house.

Jungsu's hand was by his mouth as he nervously chewed on his nails, "I don't know, Heechul... I have a bad feeling about this..."

Heechul rolled his eyes, "For the love of... Fine! I'll go get it!" He pushed through people, too annoyed to bother being polite and saying 'excuse me'. Then again, he never had been known as polite to begin with. Finally he reached the nearest phone and looked back at Jungsu, who had followed him through the crowd. "See? It's not ringing anymore. I bet Heejin has it."

"Still. Pick it up."

Not seeing the point, he picked it up and hit Talk rather harshly.

"... your parents have just died in the plane crash."

Heechul's eyes widened and the phone dropped, hitting the ground with crash that made the people around him stop and look. But Heechul didn't notice. He didn't notice anything. Not with those words going through his head. 'Your parents have just died.'

"Heechul?" Jungsu asked, "Heechul?! What happened?!" He was standing in front of his friend. After getting no response, he shook the younger by the shoulders, "Heechul! What the hell happened?!"

Reality finally hit him and he looked into Jungsu' eyes, his voice barely audible over the shouts of others and the loud music as he whispered. "They're... They're dead."

Hankyung had been listening so intently he was surprised when Heechul finished the story. "So just like that?"

Heechul sighed, looking down in the tea that was probably cold by now, "Yup. Just like that. I get a call, and my parents are both dead."

"What about Heejin? You don't know how she died?"

"Not a clue. She had broken up with her boyfriend the week before, and she'd been really sad about it, so I went over to check up on her. Only, when I get there, she's dead in the hallway. Just lying there. Her eyes were still open, but they were so empty." He shivered remembering, "And not even the dead kind of empty. They were completely void of anything. And it felt dangerous. I don't know how to describe it any other way."

Hankyung sighed as he checked his watch, "I apologize, Heechul, but I need to get going soon..." He smiled up at his hyung, "Thank you for having me here. It was nice getting to know you."

Heechul pouted, "Aw... So soon?"

"I'm afraid so." He smiled one last time as he opened the front door, "I'll be on the lookout for your cat! I'll see you tomorrow at work!"

Heechul felt sad as Hankyung closed the door behind him, slowly making his way back to his bedroom. He flopped down on the bed and turned to Siwon, who was sitting on the bed right next to him. "Get off." He groaned, narrowing his eyes at the Angel.

Siwon grinned, "Why? Is there anything you can do about it?"

Heechul smirked mischievously before grabbing a pillow and whipping it at the Angel, "Yes."

The Angel was caught by surprise, but then grabbed the pillow and threw it back.

Heechul, rather than yelping as the pillow hit, got up from the bed laughing and grabbed two. "You're going down!"

Siwon raised his arms to protect himself from the flying pillows (although they wouldn't really hurt anyway...), managing to catch one of them and throwing it back right away. "I take it I haven't told you NEVER to mess with an Angel."

"And if you did do you think I'd listen?" Heechul shot back with a laugh, ducking behind the bed just in time as a second pillow was thrown his way.

Both Angel and charge collapsed on the bed, out of breath yet still laughing.

Heechul turned his head towards his Angel, "I haven't had that much fun in a long time."

Siwon looked to him and smiled, "I'm glad I could help you with that then."

Heechul's eyes widened when Siwon reached over. "Wha-What are you doing?!"

"Relax," He chuckled, plucking a feather from the other's head, "Just a feather."

Heechul laughed again at what was in the Angel's hand. "Of course."

Siwon then smirked and brought his other arm around, one of the pillows tight in his hand. It exploded upon impact, covering them both in feathers.

"I'm warning you now, you're cleaning this up." Heechul attempted being serious, eventually giving in and laughing along. Once the laughter had subsided, he reached over and grabbed the pillow that had yet to explode and put it under his head, grinning up at his Angel who had stood up by now and was collecting feathers off the bed. "That was fun..."

Siwon watched as his charge's eye lids fluttered and closed. He could never get over the fact that the man, although moody and sometimes bitchy, could look so innocent and childlike. Yes, he would even go as far as saying Heechul looked adorable curled up on the mattress.

He left the room, putting the feathers in the garbage, and decided he needed to go outside. He had felt strange at the bookstore today, although he wouldn't tell Heechul, in fear that he would get scared so soon, but now he needed to think it over. Maybe I've been away from here too long and don't know good from bad. Although a few human years hardly counted as long.

Siwon opened the front door, stopping dead in his tracks when he saw the grey thing curled up on the floor. Heebum sleepily opened his eyes and looked up, seeing the door open rather than who opened it.

Siwon sighed, opening the door more, "Because I'm in a good mood and Heechul was worried sick..." But the cat had already run through, between his feet, and went to the bedroom. Siwon frowned. Stupid. Of course he ignores you. I'm an idiot for even thinking he could hear me.

Back in the bedroom, Heechul groggily opened his eyes as the fur ball curled up against him. He smiled and scratched the cat's head, getting a pleased pur in return. "Did he find you?" He found a small piece of paper tucked under Heebum's collar. On it was a short message written in messily and much of it scratched out.

I rung the door bell and knocked, but nobody answered. I hope this is the right cat!

Hankyung

Heechul smiled, and attempted to read the line of perfect Chinese characters under the first two sentences, failing miserably. He'd hardly paid attention in the one semester's worth of classes. He put the paper on his bedside table before pulling the cat closer and burying his face in his fur. "Looks like  the dark times are over, Heebum."

Hopefully you enjoyed. I know, this chapter is kinda boring.... But surprisingly, there is some stuff that comes into play later...
