I am like... seriously worshiping the ground Robin Wright walks on. She is absolutely amazing and I love Claire. Her relationship with Frank is so fascinating.

Inre: Outlander. There are a lot of parts in the books where I'm like... what? why is this ENTIRE chapter even in here???? But I love love love certain characters that you haven't met yet and I really really want to know what happens, haha. I'm so bad.

Though, I have to say, After catching up on the Game of Thrones books, I stopped watching the show because I got bored with it. So I suppose NOT reading them yet is also a good thing?

Yeah robin wright is so good in the show!! Especially this season with everything that went down. Her relationship with frank is interesting I think both their characters really suit each other.

Outlander is just so good!! I want to read the books but I'm so behind on my reading!

Game of thrones for me has its good and bad moments. I've only read the first book and I feel as though I like the show better.

Soooo much going down and awkward breakfast in the morning, LOL. But she was SO HAPPY.

There are, obviously, lots of things that get cut out when you need to turn a book into a show. That goes for GoT as well as Outlander. So far, I'm fine with 90% of the things they cut out of Outlander. There were two scenes in particular, that I was looking forward to, but I completely understand that when you are filming something, it's a lot harder than simply writing it into a book. As for Game of Thrones, there are entire story lines that are being cut. But I do like the condensed cast of characters, even though the show is killing off people who are not dead in the book. Soooo, there's that, haha. I really hope certain characters don't get cut from Outlander, but that cast is MUCH smaller, even 6 books later, it's still manageable.

Yeah transferring books to tv shows is hard work...I get really mad at fandom a sometimes for being so hard on the writers of these shows. They have so much to think about and figure out especially with books like game of thrones and outlander.

Books like that with so many characters and so much going on they really have to make tough decisions and sometimes that means cutting or changing things to make them work.

I really just feel for them and all they have to deal with .

I'm not a book purest either so I don't let the small stuff bother me.

Hmmm, it's not that I'm a book purist, it's more that. hmm, that I would love to see certain book scenes on screen and then get sad when they need to change them or omit them. Don't want to spoil Outlander stuff if you're not caught up, so I won't mention my disappointments there, but god, there was this entire section that I just LOVED when I read it. It was part of the France stuff.

But this is also why I love watching shows that are based on books because it's like.. once the season ends, you still have TONS of source material to read, and there has already been years of fanfic, LOL.

A very early happy birthday to you, Tara! Hope it's a great one next week! :D

I've heard nothing but good things about House of Cards, but it looks so scarily intense. Joel Kinnaman's on this season, which seriously makes me wanna tune in cuz he's so effing hot. So excited for the return of GoT soon!

Fassy, Keira, Tom, Christian. So many great crushes right there!

Oooh, why bandaids? Are you accident prone, my dear?

Thank you so much!! :)

Yes house of cards is intense and I think that's what makes it so great. Plus the acting is phenomenal!

I love me some Tom Hardy and Christian Bale!! Keira Knightley is great I like all her films and I have a growing collection of magazines she's been on the cover of.....one of my smaller achievements lol! :)

I keep bandaids in my purse because I used to work at an elementary school so I always found myself needing them and the habit never broke.

Yeah, Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright look amazing on HoC, which totally makes me wanna tune in, but I have a feeling it's a show you really need to pay attention to, and at this point, I watch everything in such a half-assed fashion cuz nothing holds my attention for an hour anymore.

CB was my first big celeb crush when he was in Little Women. It's so amazing that he's continued to work and grow as an actor all these years. The Dark Knight trilogy is my Top 3 of all the Batman films. I wish he could have played that role forever. And Keira is just so endlessly appealing. She was the queen of period films for awhile, but I haven't seen her in anything in quite some time. Do you know if she has some big projects coming up?

Ahhh, that totally makes sense. When working with little kids, it's always wise to keep bandaids and cough drops handy cuz the kids hurt themselves and also get you sick all the time!

Yes Hoc is something you do have to pay attention to and sometimes I will admit I have a hard time paying attention to whatever I'm watching cause I do get bored very easily.

I remember seeing Christian in little women and I know I said he was cute once to my mom. I really love the dark knight trilogy but I also have to admit regardless of how people felt about it he was great in exodus: gods and kings. :)

I've seen almost all of Keira's films and I know she had a couple come out recently but they didn't get a lot of media attention in the states. I really liked the imitation game and begin again. Everest was the latest movie she was in that came out. She does have at least 3 movies in the works!!

Dude, I get lost watcing Game of Thrones sometimes cuz my mind wanders when the story shifts to a character I'm not overly fond of. So bad. Maybe I'll try HoC this summer!

Never got around to seeing Exodus but am happy to hear you thought he was great in it. :D

The Imitation Game was SO SAD. I had no idea she was in Everest. I shoulda watched that cuz I really enjoy both her and Jake Gyllenhaal. And YAY! So glad that she's got some new work coming out!
