I haven't had the inspiration or energy to make much of anything this month. At the last minute though, I forced myself to participate in the
icon-talk anon battle, so I'm glad there was that small spurt of productivity, so I could at least make a tiny post this month! This is probably the teeniest batch you'll ever see me present, but it's better than

I always love to see your various variations. It's always lovely to see what you do with one cap and how many ideas you put into a cap.
I especially love your last cap and all of its icons. I love that every version is so crisp and perfectly lit. #20 has an awesome crop and the b/w is so beautiful. #'s 15 and 16 are also very, very pretty. I love the slightly grungy look and the brown colouring (I'm developing a huge thing for brown colouring). #13 - your beautiful texture use again, her hair looks amazing in all versions (not just her hair in and of itself - it's beautiful of course - but the way the light looks on it)! ♥
Also, #7 is a very interesting case. I'm not a huge fan of the 'covered eyes' trend but I love this icon. The pink is so, so stunning, so bold, so bright, absolutely lovely. And the text works so well and I just love the contrast between the white and the pink.
This is a very lovely post, Kim! It's so weird to have such a small batch from you, lol. I'm used to writing much more. :3 I hope your muse/inspiration/energy is coming back to you soon, it's always annoying when the muse is on vacation again, because I'd love to see what you'll do with the Icon Quest challenges! ♥

The B/W variations are probably my faves here cuz they're cleaner and simpler than everything else. #15-16 were annoying to balance out, color-wise. I kept questioning whether there was too much yellow or if the whole image was too dark, but ultimately, I quite like the results! I'm so glad you noticed the hair in the colored alts for #13 cuz I went through and added some yellow just to her hair area, and it's something I'd like to continue working on now. It really makes her gorgeous blonde coloring pop even more!
I now officially hate the font I chose for #7, but whatever. I was too lazy to change it once I realized I hated it. I still enjoy the idea of the icon even though I don't love the execution. It's seriously awesome that you like it so much despite not being a fan of the obscured eye trend, in general! :)
I feel so lame for not having even attempted any IQ challenges yet. My muse just vanished on me even though there are so many exciting new comms to join and participate in. WTF, right? Anyway, thank you SO much for yet another brilliant bunch of feedback, Ani! <333333333
