I must start saying that YOU NAILED this month's challenge. All of the icons look so complex and beautifully done.
#1; I love the way you used the card texture, it's really creative & look pretty. Also, the blue+black+white combination is *sights* AWESOME.
#3; OMG! THAT BLUE! I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the blue tones you managed to get in this icon, they are so vibrant & so blue that I don't even. OHH DEAR GOD! HIS HAIR IS YELLOW. PREFECT COMBINATION EVER.
#5; My eyes were straight to this icon. I am loving the whole composition & the colouring. IT IS BEYOND PERFECT TO EXIST.
#19 & #20; I really like both compositions. I love the fact that #19 looks simple and complex at the same time. About #20, I think that it is an incredible icon, using that texture, your icon could have turn out not great, but YOU DID AN AMAZING AND CREATIVE JOB THERE. It's really wonderful.
I am so enjoying your variations, specially #22, #25, #27 & #67. I think you've got a great technique when it comes about one-colour icons. THESE ARE TO DIE FOR.
My first thought after looking at your icons was "I wish I know this guy in order to use some these awesome pretties"
I think I know a way to get this effect you're talking about. Go to FILTER > PIXELATE > MOSAIC & there you choose a number and can get that effect. I gave it a shot just to show you ;D
I feel like I should delete Photoshop right now & delete all the textures I have.
That being said, keep up the good work, girl! ;D & I cannot wait for your next entry.

This cracked me up! SO DAMN CUTE!
I'm admitting to so many people that I don't love #5. I know an icon doesn't have to make sense, but to me, that one just doesn't at all. I kept it cuz my flist happened to respond well to it, and I just had so many other pieces to work on. All the same, it gives me tremendous satisfaction to know that someone as talented as you likes it that much!
I keep laughing at #19 cuz the wings look so crooked. I kept moving them around and masking parts, but I gave up and just let them be crooked cuz if you knew the movie (Boy A) that the cap's from, it'd make sense anyway.
#20 is one of my faves, and I seriously expected people to say it looked too crowded and busy, which is a problem others often critique in my work.
I'm glad you enjoy some of my fave alternates, like #22 and #67. I keep wondering if I shoud switch those two in for the voting, but I think the white textures in my current entries really give more depth to the pieces, so I probably won't.

OMG! I swear that I tried Mosaic and just couldn't get the right effect. I must be an idiot cuz you did exactly what I hoped to do! Will give that another try in the future, for sure!
If you deleted PS and your textures, that would be a sad loss for the graphics community. You have to know that!
I still love yellow and will try to work in some more for you and tinebrella next time.
