Funny that people enjoy #77 so much cuz that's the easiest one to make! B/W gradient map + pinkish texture on Linear Burn (or is it Color Burn?) + pandavirus texture = 77! #14 wasn't too tough either. All the credit goes to the textures that add the color!

Yeah, when I do the flip upside down thing, like in #13, I usually try to cover part of the flipped image, so it's not just repetitive. It's like I got a different crop except not really.

And dying over the serial killer comment. To me, he looks like the scared victim, so you got the opposite of what I intended to convey, but it's effin' hilarious!!!!!!!!!

I really wanted to use the paint textures (very telling that I keep accidentally typing out "pain textures"), but I couldn't make them look good. That's a big bummer for me cuz Jana and other people got so much good use out of them to make grungy icons.

Honey, I won't even go into #50. That was the most frustrating piece of crap that I made on the day I started this batch. UGH. I put it in here, so that I could say to myself I didn't make it for nothing, but if that icon were a person, I'd be in jail for killing it!

#63 is #15 without the white texture. I can totally see why you (and anyone else) might think #15 gets overpowered by the texture. I was trying to convey a sense of mystery by obscuring even more of his face than the hair from the female subject (who you can't see) did. And #12, I was going for something watercolorish, and I like it, but again, I can see why someone else wouldn't.

Mostly I love how these are just variations on a crop but you've put them together in such an interesting way.

Thank you so much. I've been told that including so many variations makes me look indecisive or like I'm trying to fatten up a post, but the truth is 1) Hell yeah, I'm indecisive! I leave the choosing to others, and 2) I never need to fatten up posts. It's all I can do to keep mine from exploding cuz I always have way too many to present!
