Mind Opener
We use language so much we forget that it's learned, that English is just one of many languages and that physical objects really have little to do with the words we pin to them. And yet it seems impossible to "think" without words. Compose a quick poem about how you feel, then switch a few key words at random. How does the feeling of the poem change as the words change?

Quote of the Month
To name an object is to take away three-fourths of the pleasure given by the poem.
This pleasure consists in guessing little by little; to suggest it, that is the ideal.
~ Mallarme

Poem of the Month

it is the season of sizzling concrete
by day we taste the nectar of summer
and at night we guzzle the moon

~ Taste of Summer composed with the Flip Kit
