Dude. Seriously. I just made the best cupcakes ever.
I bought some piping bags and a couple new decorating tips at Michael's yesterday, and was very much in the mood to make cupcakes, but alas, it was like 8:00 at night and my baking adventures tend to last many hours; treats were not to be had. I got around to making them today, though, and damn are they tasty. One of my new tips is a "Bismarck" tip, meaning it's sole purpose is to help with the injection of scrumptious fillings into equally scrumptious pastries....and my "Homemade Hostess" cupcakes came into existence.

Matt suggested them as a joke I think, but it's not my fault we happened to have Devil's Food cake mix, chocolate AND vanilla frosting, and all the ingredients necessary to make a delicious cream filling from scratch hiding in our cupboard.
Ok so it's partially my fault. Now I just have to hope Matt's in the mood to eat 2 dozen cupcakes...
