updates and my birfday
I got hired on to Nationwide. I am no longer on a contract. Yay. That being said, since it was the biggest update...

I blogged yesterday for 2 hours about how excited I was about this Saturday, my thoughts on the events and things I'm happy about and I hit submit, and was prompted to login again and lost it all. So I lost all kinds of creative output, and this is a bummer. I had posted parts of Keith's blog about getting ready for the party because this is exciting.
I am honored that Keith and other members of Dream Merchant are banding together to play songs and songs that I requested, this is very awesome of them. They are awesome friends. It will be an awesome day. I was bummed to hear that Keith has to go through a lot of trouble to get parts to put his bass back together to accomplish this and hope it wasn't too much of a hassle for him.
Keith is an awesome bassist, and a very creative, diverse individual.
This is also something I appreciate about the things my friends all have in common: creative, diverse, eccentric.
Over the past couple months I've had a chance to play old Amp songs off their 2nd album, Fool's Crown's Up The Antics (see myspace.com/Foolscrown), and some Dream Merchant songs for Justin and I think he's a fan.
I'm excited for him to see the talents of these guys before our very eyes on my birthday.
Justin is also taking me out for a romantic evening on Friday. He is an awesome boyfriend who is sweet and thoughtful. He also is very smart, funny, and easy on the eyes :). He has pretty eyelashes I think a lot of girls would kill for. I also fawn over the little curls on the back of his head that he doesn't think much of but keeps there for me.
After the dinner I'm to stop by Joel and Leah's (who were in Dream Merchant, and have been awesome enough to agree to host my birthday event) place. They even created flyers I haven't had time to stop by and get. We've played phone tag the past two weeks in the planning of the event. I'm to create my acclaimed chiletti at this time for them and the event on Saturday for people to eat.
I'll either make two pans: one with the meat and one without, or just the vegetarian one since Justin can't eat meat. They both are very very good either way.
I'm very excited to see my friends that I haven't seen in a long time and just tons of faces of people I am fond of, come together in one place to help me celebrate my birthday. I wish I hadn't lost my camera a couple weeks ago, because I need someone to film and take pictures of this event or at least take pictures for me :(.
There are a lot of people coming so I'm hoping this may rival the birthday party I had when I was 22. It will be difficult since two bands that were very good have both broken up and won't be apart of the musical part of my party. This is Amp, and Monster Movies. At any rate I'm looking forward to music, and the wonderful singing voices of many who will be there. April has a beautiful singing voice as do the Dream Merchant people, and I was hoping that Keith might sing something of his liking, and if people can convince me maybe I shall sing as well.
I've heard that I have a pretty good voice...But I have severe stage fright and anxiety issues. It takes a while for me to warm up and start breathing properly again...
I'm disappointed that some ppl are not coming because they don't know me that well and think they have better things to do, and don't realize how awesome this is going to be. Some people I really like can't make it to mine as well because of other conflicts like other parties and halloween, weddings...My birthday is so close to Halloween...
Anyway, this blog isn't nearly as cool as the last one because this is a redo.
I hope to see you guys at my party! Some of you I've not got to see out of work before, and some I haven't met yet and hoping you make it.. LIKE CHELVE....Mooo.
