1:47 PM - Help me figure this out? Car stereo stuff.
Category: Automotive
For all intents and purposes I can think of I'm going to just list what I've been looking at that seemed right, and then the link will follow for each peice of equipment.
My problem w/figuring out what to buy to have a good system in my car, is I dont need anything thats going to setoff car alarms and piss ppl off from a mile away, and I dont want to be a cop magnet. However, I love loud music, and dont mind disturbing maybe a half block to block radius. I dont know how many watts of power of a sub and amp this would take. I would think, not much. I used an amp for speakers in my house that werent even 400w, and I could hear the music half a block away. Anyhow. Its not a car. so, now I need someone's help. I dont want to spend 1-2 grand like a lot of ppl do on their systems, but if thats what I really need to do, then I will. I just need to know what size of speakers I need, how many (IE do I need two for the dash, two for the rear and one or two int he trunk, and then what is the meaning of 2way, 3way, and 4way speakers?
