I wasn't a fan of the Mets trading Lastings Milledge, but damn, I like Ryan Church.
TNA has a ppv tonight. I'm sure you are all aware of this due to Scott Steiner having a 141.66666666% chance of winning the main event. There is also a Knockouts match featuring nine girls in which the loser gets her head shaved. But on Impact, they had an immunity match where whomever grabbed the shaver (which was on a pole) gets immunity from having her head shaved. Sounds like a classic Russo bait-n-switch (tm) coming up tonight.
The Penguins play game two of the Eastern Conference finals tonight against the Flyers. I'll be honest, I didn't expect the Penguins to do this much at the beginning of the season. I thought they'd need another year of experience and maturity. But here we are up 1-0 in the Eastern Conference finals and I see no reason why we can't be playing for Lord Stanley's cup this time next week. Detroit just looks insane right now, but the Pens are playing really well, so if that's how it ends up, it should be a fun series. Still have to be the Flyers three more times first, though.
I went to Mirage on Friday night with a bunch of people from work. The girl jumped on me and started making out with me the second I walked in so people know about us. And who said kayfabe was dead?
Speaking of the girl, she's a hater. She likes the Rangers, the Yankees and in general, teams I don't. Which is fine, but she goes out of her way to cheer against my teams. This will lead to one of two things:
1.) She will cross the line and start cheering for my teams.
2.) She will get punched in the face.
Next Saturday at Gleason's, I'll be in the opening match. That's one good thing. The second good thing is that I'm working with Pete in a singles match. The third good thing is that it's a North American title match! Now that I think of it, I could use a new belt.
