(no subject)
i havent updated in a while, but i think the past few days deserves it. ive been working my ass of for the past week and a half in order to get my final project done enough to be able to go to the foo fighters and weezer concert on saturday. so saturday rolled around and i was ahead enough to sleep till 1030 when mike arrived and went to studio for a bit. at 330 i dipped out cuz conlin, gligor, emily, aj, and ben had arrived. we came back and hung out with other nick, jess and irene. we played pool for a while which was amazing. there was a fat girl and a guy with a tail playing dance dance revolution. it was amazing. so we hung out in the room a little more then headed to the concert. we got there and we made our way to the floor. for kaiser chiefs and weezer we were about 2 rows back. kaiser chiefs were awesome. they had a lot of energy and a cow bell and threw stuff. it rocked. so weezer comes on and all of the 12 year old weezer geeks go nuts. i made friends with a 15 year old and a girl who was aparently dating kevin smith. this turned out to be adventagious because i was able to switch spots with the 15 year old girl for foo fghters and was front row. weezer by the way rocked my world. el scorcho, island in the sun, big me, blur - song2, and buddy holly were just some of the hilights. so finally foo fighters come on and everyone flips. i was exhausted from screaming by the second song but that definately didnt stop anyone. they rocked SO HARD my face hurt. there are no words in the english language to describe how utterly unbelievable they were. so much fun. they played everlong acousticly then at the end the whole band came out and did the chorus again. it was perfect. it literally gave me chills. there were green lights across the stadium and smoke comming out of machines, and it looked like there were clouds above us. goosebumps. they ended the set with monkey wrench which i was a little upset about before the concert, but it fit perfectly. amazing amazing amazing.
after the concert i was exhausted and sore and absolutely satisfied. aj however left conlins lights on so the battery died. we realized this after about 99% of the people at the concert had left. so theres this hick from wv. all he said was "my girl" "cigarette" "hop fence" and "battery". he had a charger that really didnt work that well. so a security guard comes and saves us. we head to dennys to visit jess. we get there and order some chum pie. we waited literally an hour and a half for our food. we complained but this stupid woman only gave us a 20% discount. but i had a blast so it was worth it.
