"You're going to get a serious tongue-lashing when she gets back, Angel. Wouldn't want to be you, but for now, Faith just pulled up and you won't believe who is in the car with her...Finn. Appears soldier boy made it, but he doesn't look happy. Figure that the preacherman junior must have got his unit too. Guess that we'll find out later."
That was my fault. Not the Riley being alive part. I didn't know the guy, but considering my vision, that was a good thing. Maybe his entire army unit made it, but I didn't think that was possible, because I had the visions and saw everyone in that jungle being shot.
The part that was my fault was about telling Buffy and Spike that Connor was alive. That was my fault. I had been so angry with Angel over it, that it almost prevented us from having sex, and Buffy had the same reaction to it. Thank God it didn't prevent Angel and I from making love, because that was wonderful and I was still beautifully sore because of that. Angel had told me about it, but I had forgotten, probably because of the aforementioned wonderful sex. If I had remembered that he had told me about the spell involved and the crazy taking over of Wolfram and Hart, then I wouldn't have brought it up, even though I was concerned about Connor and we needed to talk about getting him with us, in whatever way that it took, take over Wolfram and Hart or not.
Buffy left, taking Angel's credit card with her. We needed food, and the boys needed blood, but I hated to think of how she might run up his bill right now. She wasn't pleased with him at all when she left, and come to think of it, I should have taken his credit card last night. We had stolen some clothes last night, but my wardrobe needed an overhaul.
Seriously, though, we had things to talk about, now, and I could tell that Spike had something to say.
"So, who is this Riley guy? I mean, he obviously knows Buffy and Faith, so it's a good thing that he's alive, right? What's his story?"
Spike was still thrown by the whole Connor mind-zap, take over Wolfram and Hart thing and understandably so, and Angel just seemed disturbed by the Buffy being mad at him thing, but I wanted to know who Riley was, if I was about to meet him.
Instead, Angel got on his cellphone and scrolled to Faith and dialed her number. He then told her to an address in Lakeworth, and to be prepared, because the First could show up there. He then told Faith to just trust him, the eighteen year old boy is actually somebody that she knows, and that he was in danger.
Spike mentioned that he didn't want Buffy to go alone and not only that, he needed some blood and now that was gone.
"Well, at least you're taking charge, sweetie, about the whole Connor thing. That was the right move, but come on, I don't know this Riley guy, you two. Who is he?"
