Kings and Queens
These are undoubtedly the most beautiful icons I have ever made. I was just so damn inspired that I had to keep making one after the other. As you can obviously tell, I'm catching up on all the episodes I've missed from The Tudors. The cat-and-mouse game Anne Boleyn and King Henry play remind me so much about another pair I love and had made icons of in the past (*cough*BLAIR/CHUCK*cough*). It helps that Jonathan Rhys Meyers (oh the accent, the face, the body!) and Natalie Dormer are just so friggin' steamy apart and together.
I mean, c'mon! That scene in S1Ep1 when King Henry devoured the pomegranate like an animal, the sweet juice of the fruit dripping down his jaw and then onto his chest, glistening in the soft light from the fireplace, casting a golden glow on his body...
(P.S. it has been called to my attention that one of my icons-- Chuck/Blair circa 1860-- is wrong. I added a new icon in the end which now states "circa 1560", which is the correct year. I, however, haven't erased the incorrect icon since I still think it looks cute and hasn't done anything but made me go "awwww!")
