1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
stole a tree, moved out of the house, rode on the baltimore metro which i thought was just a myth, blacked out for the first time, won some money on a scratch off
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i'm usually too busy being drunk to make resolutions
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
no, thank god. i hate babies
4. Did anyone close to you die?
paw paw, pierre
5. What countries did you visit?
america
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
better skin, less split ends... more motivation. money.
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
i don't remember dates. just feelings in my guts and heart.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
surviving. and quitting smoking, successfully this time. it'll be a year in march mhhmmm.
9. What was your biggest failure?
hmmm... giving up on things and people too easily. being too lazy to keep in touch with friends from last year. being too lazy to do anything really.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
PINK EYE. ewwww, that was the worst.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
dodgeball. christmas ornaments. all the budweisers i've consumed this year.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Every day is a celebration with friends like mine
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
mostly my own. but particularly the actions taken by that car in front of us that night.
14. Where did most of your money go?
RENT. bge. um... then probably alchol, groceries... school stuff.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My mo'fucking birthday... which was a riot. and going to jon's beach house. oh, and i got almost too excited to see wedding crashers and waiting.
16. What song(s) will always remind you of 2005?
anything by atmosphere, or air... we had some good times listening to the 69 boys and doing the tootsie roll. but the golden girls theme pretty much sums everything up, really.

spent more time with the people who i thought would always be there.

i wish i had been less of a bitch. but that's hard for me. i also wish i hadn't been so goddamn unmotivated to do anything but drink and screw around.

I spent it at my grandma's playing fun games and watching my gay drunk uncle ask kyle what his "passion" was. it was pretty fantastic.

no. i fell in love in 2003 and have continued it since.

like A MILLION.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
this year i rediscovered the glory of basic television, with such fine programs as elimidate, malcolm in the middle, conan, oprah...
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
haha probably. i'm a meanie.

i dont reed
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
the theme song to the adventures of pete and pete. al green. i also rekindled my love for nico and the velvet underground.

i wanted the third season of golden girls. totally got it. i also wanted a good birthday and christmas and definitely got both.
29. What did you want and not get?
i wanted to have a year where nothing horrendous happened. i also was hoping for some boobs. but that didn't pan out as expected either.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
oh shit. definitely wedding crashers and waiting. i also stayed up til 3 am during finals week to watch dirty dancing on the wb. i didn't know i even liked that movie. turns out i can't get enough of it...
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
i turned the big and equally useless 1-9. i spent it in my boyfriend's backyard, drinking buds and eatin' sausages with all my fantastic friends... and some random guy who looked like a crippled david lee roth.
32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
money. a decent meal every now and then. having all my friends live in the same city again. not losing one of the most important people in my life.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
ha.. whatever's clean. and not pink.

definitely kyle, for sure. and the ladies on dolphin street.

paw paw, my cat, all the friends i never see or talk to anymore.

i've learned to make sure people know, everyday, that you love them. i also learned that you're not invincible. you can die at any moment, so don't be an asshole and live like you fucking mean it.
