is soulseek worth downloading? i know i'm leagues behind on this. have you experienced problems with spyware and the like? how does it work? i'm curious. i just got an ipod and am obsessed with putting too much on it.

yes, i gave in and bought an ipod. a photo ipod. i was very against getting one for a long time and suddenly, after a stressful week, i decided that it was the only thing that could make me feel better. so i bought one. hardly any work got done that week!

i'm okay with using itunes now. i was really fuckin' done with it by day 2. you can't copy anything from anyone on your local network. i think the guessing game of trying to figure out who the music belongs to is the best. i've seen collections full of soundtracks, our lady peace and kanye west (WTF?), ska...pure gold. having a lot of your music in the palm of your hand is very overwhelming. you can't decide what the hell you want to listen to.

apple makes a KILLING with these things. you have to get a case for it or else you risk damaging it which is anywhere from $5 (for a shitty one) to $500 (designer garbage). i don't want to get robbed so i've been using different earphones. call me paranoid, i just don't want to look like a walking $350. if you get the photo ipod, you need the camera connector if you want to transfer files onto it. eventually, we all know about the battery...

despite all my bitching, i'm attached.
