Maybe it's me, but when I date someone part of my blanks on the fact that they have a past. I don't know what it is. Maybe I just don't care enough to concern myself with their past relationships. Or maybe I'm truly arrogant and just want to consider myself the first person they've ever dated, as if no one else matters. It's strange the way my mind

Personally I use LJ partly because I got too lazy to keep a paper journal any more, partly as something to do when I am bored, and partly to keep in touch with my friends who live far away from me (like you with Tessa)...I know exactly what you mean about people just using it as some kind of ego boost, I post pictures occasionally when I have them just for my friends to see, and for me to look back on, I certainly don't expect people I don't know to be interested in them! In fact really, I don't expect people I know to be interested in the vast majority of my journal posts, let alone those I don't know in 'real life'!

I do like the fact that I have 'met' (obviously not actually met) people like Tessa and yourself, who's lives and thoughts I find interesting...I enjoy reading your take on life and events in your life, maybe because we are similar ages I don't know...but whatever, do your thing and if you aren't going to post any more, or if you cut me- it was nice not meeting you, and good luck with your future! =)

Oh, and your attitude about guy's exes is very cool...too many girls get way too involved with stressing out about a guys exes and it taints their relationship. Jealousy= not an attractive quality.
