Yes, you heard right! It's like Christmas has come early. It's been a while - from the fear and loathing of the Buffalo Bar gig at the end of July, Handbags at Dawn have been hunkered down, writing and rehearsing, and are now very much on form and ready to once again unleash their warm love - and mesmerising live energy - onto the world once more.
CLUB FANDANGO @ THE DUBLIN CASTLE, Camden Town, London, UK
First up, we have, in just less than two weeks - a gig at Camden's legendary DUBLIN CASTLE, as part of the terrific CLUB FANDANGO night.
This spectacular event will take place on TUESDAY 30TH NOVEMBER (the day after Tim will appear in court to testify against the scumbag who mugged him, fact fans). The Handbags are sharing a bill with headliners KILLERS ON CAMERA, and the brilliantly named PIRANHA DEATHRAY. Handbags at Dawn will be playing second, and we expect to be on-stage at around 9:30pm.
The night kicks off at 8pm, and goes on til 1am. Entrance costs £6 (or £5 with a flyer, which can be printed off from here.)
The Dublin Castle is about half-way up Parkway, really close to Camden Town tube station. It should be a rollicking good night, so come along!
AND THERE'S MORE...
Handbags at Dawn will be playing a Christmas gig on SUNDAY 12TH DECEMBER at the Brixton Windmill, as part of Drowned in Sound's Christmas all-dayer. As it stands we expect to be on at around 6:30pm, and there will be a free barbeque apparently. We've yet to confirm full details, but we can reveal that PROZAK are playing as well... more info on this wondrous event as we receive it!
