Giving Thanks.
So it is Thanksgiving Day. I really don't care about the settling of Pilgrims, or their "connection" with the Native Americans centuries ago. I never really have...and it might be a bit too early to tell, but something screams to me that I never really will care. Ha...what I do care about are the pieces of my life that I am thankful for having. There's really only one generalization to contain all of it into one statement.
I'm thankful for every single person that has had an impact in my life. Every one of you. Some more than others, but everyone knows exactly how I feel toward them. My friends, without I'd be so lost, dead, and destroyed. The people that have hurt me...even repeatedly for helping me sharpen my senses and heart to understand who to let behind locked doors and who to hide the key from. To my band for showing me exactly what I was truly passionate about.
I always forgive, and I never forget. I love someone of you so much more than I love others, but I have to at least in someway love you all, because without you, I wouldn't be me.
and we just couldn't have that now, could we? :)
