Today I hung out with Alex, and it was Wicked Awesome™.
We set off on a mission to go to the art store so she could use her gift certificate, but we ended up going to some parks and the mall, with a lot of driving around in between. After that we ate dinner at her house, where I met more of her family including a very funny littlest sister, and then started to watch O Brother Where Art Thou, which was pretty sweet but we didn't get to finish it due to it being a school night for her. Next Saturday we're gonna hang out at my house, it should be awesome.
I was kinda worried that we might have pre-formed conceptions of how each other would act based on our frequent talks online, but it was only weird for like half a second. And even then it wasn't even that weird. Everything seemed to flow really smoothly, even when I was all sketched about driving around Syracuse because I'm not really that experienced with driving in cities. We even drove around aimlessly in the city and didn't get lost, which surprised me.
That feeling you have when you know something is going to happen but you have no idea exactly what is pretty awesome in situations like this. It's like going up the rollercoaster hill... and I think we just got to the top.
