Happy May first! And you may ask what the significance of May first is, and my answer: just the fact that it's May first. Can you believe it's May? We're already on the home stretch.
Last week was great. We ended the week off with two motivational speakers. They were great. Their message:
1. Relationships. Break-ups happen. Don’t get stressed out, it will always work out.
2. Fears. We’re born with only two fears: loud noises & falling over. We have to do the thing we are most afraid of. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.
3. Responsibility. We all have the ability to respond.
4. Peer-Pressure. Live life like you are in the shower. Sing your song!
5. Believe in Yourself. Life is a wonderful process. Let your imagination be free and be what you want to be.
Friday night was spent with the girls shopping and then just sitting and talking at Athens. It was a nice night. Except for that one thing that came up that we weren't supposed to be talking about...ahemm steph. lol.
Saturday morning Calc class. And besides the fact that we are all lost except for the odd few, it was fun. We've all just kind of accepted the fact that we are going to fail. After class, four of us went out for lunch and then walked around/shopped (which was really just trying to prevent going home to study). It was a beatiful day though, so why would you want to be inside studying when you could be out and about taking in the sun and warm weather?
I spent a couple hours driving on Sunday. And I booked a test. Steph and I also spent some time togther that night and actually did our Bio work. I swear, we were the only ones that did it. Today in class everyone was copying off us for a change.
So today, Monday, May first, felt like summer. I can't wait for our APs are over. I want to celebrate. Girls night on Saturday. It's going to be fun. Two soccer games this week. Olympia next week. May is going to be over before we know it.
