And this is the first Heroes fic I've written!

I've actually really wanted to write it for a while, but with the nature of this show I've been very afraid of being Jossed. The incest challenge was a good excuse to take a stab at it.

And hey, I must say I'm pleased that you picked mine too. :)

This was fabulous. I love love LOVE fic that explores Niki/Jessica's past, and I think this pairing is H-O-T. I think this line...

She's wearing a new pair of tennis shoes, good for running. They're clean, without a single piece of glass stuck in the sole.

Isolates the very essence of their relationship in such a perfect way. Also, your depiction of the molestation, wow. That was more real and edgy than a lot of writers will go, and you got there with such few words, details. VERY well done.

I didn't know anyone else was writing this pairing, I just caught Janine's over the weekend, and now here you are. I hope this means it's going to start gaining some momentum with writers.
