This is actually only my second VMars fic (and the first that actually has Veronica in it) so, uh, I'm REALLY glad that it works for you.

Firstly: YES, whee alliteration, as well!

I love when people read things that aren't necessarily in their fandom, and it's particularly flattering if the person doesn't end up lost. So honestly color me flattered -- especially since voice is something I work the hardest at.

And I wish that I could say I was clever enough that the "reference" was deliberate -- but, hey, fuck it; we can pretend I'm that good, right? :D

This is *brilliant*. And Veronica/Mac! *bounces* A Veronica-and-Mac adventure ending up in a gay bar, which is just - beautiful.

Adore that Mac has been practising, and this bit:
Not that she spends any weird amount of time thinking about her, either. Just a normal, friendly amount of time. Between friends.
is fantastic.

And She starts to say something more, when Mac pipes up with, "We like to think of ourselves as lovers, actually." is also fantabulous. Hee, Mac is so many kinds of wonderful, and you've written her so well.

And Veronica not picking up on the clues and not having her detective skills when it comes to pretty girls lusting after her... excellent. :D

I thought for sure I'd responded to your wonderful comment already! I even remember typing up my response. (Maybe I was just so tired that I forgot to actually hit "post comment.")

But, yeah! Thank you so much, and I'm SO honestly glad you liked it. Like I said before, your Mac is great, so I'm glad you like what I did with her as well.

As far as Veronica being oblivious, you know, I really think that's got to be one of the only possible explanations as to why she's not already all over Mac -- especially given this most recent episode. I mean, REALLY.

Thank you for your comment, and really for asking for them in the first place. It took a ficathon to get me to finally write them, when I'd been thinking about it for a while.
