So everyone knows about that thunder storm that went down lastnight. I went to bed at 9:23 'cause that damn pick up stix made me sick. I woke up in pain thinking it was 5:00 am but no it was 12:00 am. I decided to curl up on the couch. As I started to fall asleep BOOM huge thing of thunder shook my house. I got up and went to the kitchen to look outside. Lightning everywhere. I went to my mom's room to make sure thigns were ok and to ask what I should do about my stomach. I said to my mom "I wonder if any lightning has struck anything on the ground". Few minutes later 1:20am rolled around and at that very moment huge thing of lightning struck, big bang to go with the big explosion, black out. BY this time I was shaking I was so freaked out. I talked with David Hahn for a while until he decided to go sleep. I colored by candle light for a bit and made my way back to my room. When I woke up this morning I looked outside. I didn't notice that the lightning had struck the pole in front of our house. Everything happened so fast and it reflected off the clouds it looked like it was on the other side of the street. We called SDG&E at 6:00am but they didn't record our call till 10:00am. Only four or five other people had no power. The workers didn't show up until 4:00pm and had brought the wrong thing with them so they went back, took their dinner break and then came back to our hood. Our power came back on 45 minutes ago. I have never been so happy.
