Normally, I usually let the strange things that happen at work roll right off, unless they happen to piss me off. But I actually kinda hope this guy shows up again at some point. Odd, I know, but it really was kind of endearing the first time I saw him, and then he showed up today and made me laugh. Really, this guy's the shit.
Okay, so...I think it was a few weeks ago, I was having a horribly bad day. This guy pumps gas, and walks in. He's all smiles, with a cute little curly pony tail, and asks how my day is going. I think I just grumbled or growled in response. So as he's leaving, he raises his hand in a pope-esque gesture and crosses the air saying some sort of blessing. Thankfully there was no one else in the store because I laughed my ass off. It also made me feel better.
So today, he walks in and I don't recognize him right away. He'd pumped 20.02 in gas, but apparently didn't have the 2, cause he grabbed them out of the dish. Before he left, he crossed the dish and released who ever had left those pennies from any karmic disturbance. I swear to god he blessed the dish! I then realized who he was and actually meant it when I told him to have a nice day. What a kick!
