What a great man.. I loved his enthusiasm. Not a lot of people can be thT enthusistic and truly happy with what they are doing in life. I admire him, and mainly for his enthusiasm that annoyed the miserable ones.

He really was and he really did.

He made me happy. Simple as that. And it hurts to know I won't experience his brand of happiness again. Hurts worse to know people I've come to know as friends mock that.

I am appalled at all the hate I see on all different types of message boards about his death. Save it for someone who deserved it. Steve Irwin did no harm, ever.

Jeepers, just read the journal in question, and this lady is a misandronyst like whooa. Anyone or thing with a penis is fair game- possibly including female hyenas. Her opinion of Irwin and his animal welfare campaigning is, to sat the least, uniformed, and she has *no* business talking about the habits of the Australian Stingray. I left a comment on her LJ, so I'm just waiting to be labelled a woman-hating caveman right about...now
