Busy Weekend

I've done a lot more than I thought I would.

Thursday, my friend Esther and I explored Beverly Hills from a bit past noon until all of the stores closed at seven. I finally found shoes that would have fit if they were the correct size: Valentino flats for $465. Yeah...Kinda not worth the money. I also tried Sprinkles cupcakes for the first time -- Ugh, not worth the $3+. I'm not much of a cupcake person, so you really have to impress me, and those cupcakes were just as good as the ones people bring to school for their birthday. Major disappointment. That night, I had the most amazing sangria by the rooftop pool at my big's.

Friday, Esther and I went swimming in my pool, then we went to Koreatown for some food, so I can get my share of it before I leave to Jacksonville.

Saturday, we went to explore downtown. Wow! We went to Olvera Street, which is the original Hispanic street, explored Chinatown and Little Tokyo, ate at Bottega Louie's (Apparently, they're one of the most reviewed restaurants in Los Angeles) and had THE MOST amazing wine, ate tacos from a Calbi truck, then headed over to Wurstküche and had a hot dog made from chicken, apple and spices. They're known for their yummy selection of beer, some of them flavored, and their exotic selection of hot dogs. When my big and grand big went, they had a hot dog made from rattlesnake and rabbit, but I'm not that adventurous.

Sunday, I had A LOT of homework, so I did that...And I barely finished. I got a total of seven hours of sleep, but because it wasn't consecutive, I was exhausted. Today, I had all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, then I came home and knocked out. I finally rolled out of bed around 11PM.

My schedule is booked until Thursday, which is probably when Esther and I will continue exploring. I still have a lot to do before I leave.
