Chapter 4

“We’re going to be okay right?” JaeJoong asked quietly, his hands nervously twisting the ends of his shirt. His big brown eyes fixated on the midnight sky above filled with fear and anxiety. Yunho silently admired his friend, once again entranced by his beauty. He smiled reassuringly and gently put his arm around JaeJoong’s shoulder.

“Yeah, we’ll be okay.”

But JaeJoong didn’t seem all that convinced. His head turned to face Yunho, brown eyes taking his breath away for a split second and Yunho forgot to breathe. He wondered if these were feelings every boy had when faced with JaeJoong. Was it just him?

“If you ever feel scared or if you get hurt, give it to me. I’ll take the pain for you.I’ll always protect you boo.” Yunho said softly, giving him a gentle smile of reassurence.

“But Yunho! Did you hear them? We have to kiss and… in front of all those people!  What if they hate us?” JaeJoong asked frantically, his voice rising just slightly at the end.

“Then we’ll take them on, let them hate us. Remember who we’re doing it for Jae.” Yunho replied confidently. Then with a sly smile said, “Don’t tell me you’re scared.”

“I’m not scared!”

“Then what? You don’t want to kiss me? Am I that ugly?” Yunho said with a pout, eyes glinting mischeviously.

“What? No! That’s not… You aren’t ugly-“

Yunho burst out laughing, ignoring JaeJoong’s indignant huff and glare, pulled him closer. He laid his head on JaeJoong’s shoulder and let out a small sigh of content. If only things could stay the way they were at this exact moment, he wouldn’t have any complaints.

“We’ll be okay.” Yunho said softly, looking at the sparkling midnight sky. The stars were brightly beaming with their ageless beauty. Never changing, never dimming.

Yunho opened his eyes blearily, blinking a couple of times in confusion before remembering the dream. The night they were picked to be in the group, Yunho remembered JaeJoong’s anxiety, his fear. Has it been that long already?

It was dawn already and the sun was peaking over the horizon. Another day has come and he wished he could stay in bed. Stay here next to JaeJoong, safe and warm.

Yunho turned his head and glanced at the sleeping JaeJoong, his beautiful flawless skin, those sinful red lips, all enhanced by age. He was as beautiful he was then as he is now, maybe even more so. When he was younger, he always thought because JaeJoong was so pretty, almost like a girl, it was okay to be feeling the way he did. That those moments of breathlessness was something everyone experienced. Yunho was so afraid JaeJoong would hear how fast his heart was beating. So afraid he was, always afraid.

Afraid JaeJoong would hear his heartbeat, afraid he would leave, and afraid of their friendship ending one day. Now, they’ve taken that final step in their relationship, changing it forever. Never again can he touch JaeJoong’s hand and not remember their warmth. He couldn’t even look at those eyes again without remembering the passion, the lust they contained, all for him.

Where did they go from here? He was terrified of what this all meant. Old traditional values versus age old love. What did he do?

He wished they could turn back time, back to a time when his heart racing could be just passed off as child fascination. When hugging JaeJoong didn’t want to make him kiss him and hold him just a bit tighter, just a bit longer.

Yunho gingerly got out of bed, wincing slightly as pain raced down his spine. Glaring slightly at the sleeping figure, he grumbled his way in to the bathroom. Turning on the shower, he let the steam build a bit in the bathroom, and then turned to the mirror and looked at his reflection.

Love marks were all over his chest and neck, making his cheeks flush. Memories of last night flashed through his mind and he couldn’t help the sigh that left his mouth.  He always imagined what it would be like, dreamt of it, fantasized it countless times but he didn’t think it would be that amazing. He couldn’t put it in words how wonderful it felt, to be connected with JaeJoong so deeply. It was as if they have become one. It wasn’t like anything he’s ever imagined but as amazing it was it still scared him. Something so wonderful couldn’t possibly last could it?

With a sigh he entered the shower. The hot water felt wonderful on his skin and in a sense, he wished it would wash everything away. He wished all that underlying guilt and shame would wash down the drain. Wash away the sins and give JaeJoong the love he so richly deserved.

He exited the shower and put on a pair of sweat pants, then made his way in to the kitchen to make some coffee. As the coffee maker sputtered to life he couldn’t help but reminisce to the days when JaeJoong would burst in to his room, eyes wild and excited, hands filled with vending machine coffee.

“Yunho-yah~ wake up!” JaeJoong said loudly, nudging the sleeping figure with his foot. Yunho just grunted and turned away, burrowing his head in to the pillow, hoping to drown out the annoyingly loud voice.

“Yunho-yah~ come on, get up. I even went and got coffee for you.” JaeJoong said as he waved the coffee above Yunho’s head. The smell of coffee wafted through the air and Yunho with a resigned sigh opened his eyes.

“Must you always wake me up so early? Its only eight A.M boo.” Yunho grumbled, grabbing the coffee.

“You know what the say, early bird gets the worm!” JaeJoong said with a bright smile.

Yunho sighed and buried his face in to his arms, what was he going to do when he saw Jae? That thought has been going around and around in his head all morning. Should he casually say hi and give him a kiss? No no no, that was a bad idea, he was having a hard time accepting what they did last night, let alone give him a kiss. Maybe he should smile and offer him coffee?

He turned towards the coffee maker, noticing with a smile coffee was done. Coffee~ oh wonderful coffee, come to me. Pouring a good amount in to his cup, he let out a blissful sigh, nothing better to wake you up in the morning than coffee.

“Should I be jealous?”

Yunho jumped; startled by the voice that’s been haunting his thoughts moments ago. JaeJoong stood against the kitchen doorway, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, staring at him with a playful smile.

“Jealous?” He responded confused, his momentary anxiety forgotten.

“Sighing so blissfully for coffee, only last night you were sighing for me. Or should I say screaming?” JaeJoong said with coy look, eyes glinting. Yunho felt a blush rise to his cheeks and fought hard to push it down.

“Shut up, pervert.” He said with a huff, grabbing a cup and pouring some coffee for JaeJoong. JaeJoong grabbed the cup and in the process, their hands brushed against the others. Yunho felt himself still, heart racing, and his breath quickening. Memories of those hands hiking up his thighs, touching his face so tenderly as they kissed flashed through his mind.

He quickly extracted his hand, nervously clearing his throat. He felt JaeJoong’s eyes staring at him and ignored the instinct to look up, instead got up, needing to get away from him.

“I’m going to go um… yeah” He trailed off and quickly turned around, making his way past JaeJoong but then a hand grabbed his wrist harshly and pushed him hard against the table. He distantly heard a crash and assumed it was the coffee mug in JaeJoong’s hands but he was too busy staring in to angry brown eyes to care.

“Jae…?” He said hesitantly.

“This is getting old Yunho.” JaeJoong said softly, tone dangerous.

“Let me go Jae.” He said in what hoped to be a strong voice and pushed the others chest but JaeJoong wasn’t having none of that and instead, grabbed his wrists pinning them above his head, making their bodies align and he felt JaeJoong’s hard chest. A knee was placed in between his thighs, pushing up against his groin. He felt exposed and vulnerable and he wasn’t sure what he felt more, aroused or ashamed.

“No. We’re going to get this settled once and for all, I’m tired of chasing after you baby.” JaeJoong continued in his soft voice and a cynical smile spread across his lips. It was a smile that both excited him and in turn made him feel ashamed because he was getting hard just by being this close to him.

JaeJoong lowered his head to his neck, JaeJoong’s breath fanning softly against the exposed flesh raising goose bumps. He lightly nibbled at his collar bone, tongue languidly licking a trail up to his ear.

“I want you. I need you so badly sometimes it hurts and yet all you do is run away from me. All you need to do is give in to me baby. Why is that so hard?” JaeJoong asked, his knee harshly grinding against his groin sending delicious waves of pleasure throughout his body.

“It’s not…hah…that easy.” He meant to yell but instead it came out soft and pleading. The whimper wasn’t exactly helping either. He needed to get out, get away, something, but his body wouldn’t move. Instead it arched up against those talented lips that were now harshly leaving a mark against his neck.

“So make it easy.” JaeJoong responded, shoving his knees apart and hitching him higher on to the table. His legs were now on either side of JaeJoong’s hips, a position way too close to last nights. JaeJoong grinded their hips together and groaned softly and the resulting friction it caused.

He couldn’t think, he could only feel JaeJoong’s lazy grind, his lips traveling down his naked chest. Shame slammed in to him harshly and words from his father were echoing in his head and he tried to twist out of the grip, trying hard to ignore the lust swirling around his stomach.

He ached to be closer, wanted to touch him and be touched in return but shame made him push against JaeJoong but instead of relenting, JaeJoong held on to him harder.

“You don’t think I’ll let you go that easily.” JaeJoong said in a dangerous tone. He couldn’t help the loud cry that left his lips nor the arch of his body when JaeJoong harshly bit in to his nipple, swirling his tongue over it lovingly afterwards.
