death warmed up
Yes, that's me. Highway roadkill, shoved in the microwave and set to high for ten seconds. I have a horrid flu thing which has now lovingly taken up residence in my nose, sinuses, throat, chest and ears. Basically, my head is a bacteria ridden soft cheese. Delightful!
Luckily only my throat and chest were bothering me on the weekend, so I still got to spend some good time with cle - I took him to see wall-e and we watched high fidelity in bed. ;)
This week I now only work one day - thursday - as yesterday was a public holiday, today I am impersonating a cheese platter, tomorrow is volunteers day (and I've been told not to come given my current condition) and friday I have off for pre-wedding tanning, nails etc. right now I am on a bus to the mall to wait in a horrible medical centre so I'm better for pete and jens big day. After that soul crushing experience, I plan to reward myself with some manner of dvd purchase and retire to my bed. oh, yesterday mum gave me a eighty dollar gift voucher for a spa place too, since she won't use it, so I shall maybe get a massage tomorrow if I feel at all human.
So, wish me luck, as I struggle to hold back my sneezes, coughs, and filthy looks directed at whining annoyances - of the adult variety.
