okay so i got asked the question the other day "Why do you swear so much?" -_-
anyone that has known me for more than 30 seconds and i feel comfortable around... knows i swear. anyone i am REALLY comfortable around and can be myself w/... knows i swear ALOT. If you have ever wondered the reason... here it is....
When i was 5 years old i heard the word "Mother Fucker" for the first time. this quickly became my favorite phaze. i used it but some how i knew that i wasn't supposed to be saying it so i didn't say it around the parents or other "Elders". One day i slipped up in front of my dad and he said "What did you say?" and i tried to cover but being only 5 it didn't work well... especially cause there would be no reason to say "brother trucker". but moving along... he was Pissed. and i didn't understand why. at such a young age i came up w/ this question and due to lack of an answer i started swearing again at age 18.
WHAT IS A SWEAR WORD? WHO DECIDED THAT PEOPLE UNDER 18 COULDN'T SAY CERTAIN WORDS? AND WHO WAS THE DUMB ASS WHO DECIDED THAT "ASS" WAS A SWEAR WORD BUT YOU COULD SAY "BUTT"??? call me crazy but this is fucking rediculous.
I quit swearing at age 5 because i thought it was disrespectful to talk like that in front of "old" people and i could swear around friends and stop around "elders" as i develop habbits quickly. but i am now to the point where i will swear around anyone for n e reason except to my parents and grand parents. simply because i don't want them to think they have "failed" and they haven't. they have raised a son who is willing to question society and the rules of society. so here is my Statement and my Challenge to you.
The "swear" words we have now are out of date and unnessasary. there are however things that are inapproprite.
