(no subject)
this weekend was great. Simple, relaxing, and at some moments amazing. Maturity? i think everyday that goes by i gain some for sure, but recently it's been something ive embraced and im pretty sure its helping me. with my schedule theres no way i can say ive simplified my life to the point it needs to be, but water polo is almost done. i keep telling myself that and look forward to more free time but at the same time i know how bad i'll miss it because i do every year.
I had a great last 2 nights of practice. Coach is contemplating starting me at big tens again even though id be out of postion. Thats always a nice feeling, he kept saying damn George is on fire again tonight. Coach doesnt usually compliment anyone so im pretty happy. I have to admit starting would be special to me this weekend and at nationals, but having 2 hole Defenders in at once doesnt make great sense so im not counting on it. to bad matt is the best defender in the nation otherwise id have his spot haha.
Im already excited for this weekend. you wouldnt think IM west could get rowdy and be a great atmosphere but it can. i remember my freshman year when we hosted and won big tens and the stands were practically full. people were going nuts for us, its such a great feeling to be in the pool with your 6 teamates and have everyone cheering like crazy for you. Its really pretty amazing and amazing is a strong word. Im really i happy i got to talk about two things that use a word like that in this entry.
