Long Overdue post
I have been meaning to do this for a while now but I suck as a person :P
I just want to thank sarea_okelani for sending me books! BOOKS!!!! I can't lie, I haven't opened the box yet because I a saving it for a sad day..It will be like a present! especially as I can't remember what books she sent me....
And now for something totally different-My Family
They are really irritating me lately....I hate how they think they "know things" and can tell me what to do...This is a constant battle but there are two things lately that have been iritating me:
1.) The Car
I needed an oil change, the car manual says every 4 months or every 5k miles...I barely drive anywhere so 4 months his in september and I'm not home to use the membership that gets me free oil changes...This causes a commotion
"WHY DIDN'T YOU ET ONE WHILE YOU WERE HOME?" Because it wasn't time to! Duh!
"I PAID ALL THIS MONEY FOR THAT PLAN" I don't know why, that was a dumb move as I'm NEVER HOME and I PLAN ON MOVING ACCROSS THE COUNTY
"IT'S COVERED BY THE WARRANTY" You are an idiot.....
2.) Graduate School
"YOU CAN'T GO TO SCHOOL OVERSEAS" Actually I can....You have no idea wht the hell you're talking about and using the TV as your source of information just negates your argument
"YOU CAN'T GO TO SCHOOL IN LA...THERE ARE VOODO PRIESTISTS" (this is honestly how my mother thinks....).....Shut Up
"YOU NEED TO GO TO SCHOOL IN FL BECAUSE I WANT TO LIVE THERE"......Are you fucking serious? You are not living with me
"CALIFORNIA IS REALLY FAR AWAY".....that is the point....
"IS YOUR FRIEND GOING TO SCHOOL WITH YOU? YOU CAN'T GO ALONE".....Am I 5? WTF
I know that I shouldn't let them get to me, but it's really just aggravating and I really don't need someone ging off at the mouth right now...
