College...well...it....ROCKS MY WORLD!!!
Alright so let me start off by saying that I am not saying I don't miss my girlsies, because, you guys, I miss you so so so so much!!!! DON"T FORGET THAT!!!! But college...is really what I needed...I mean, I was ready, and needed to go and test my wings, and now I have, and I am having a blast. Quick update before bed, because classes start tomorrow:
Camp was Monday through Thursday. Not only did I meet an insane amount of people, I met Erin, who I had ALREADY met on lj!!! And she was at the camp!!! but yeah ppl definitely thought we were sisters or something!!! I rocked.
THursday was when all the "non camp" people moved in. Met more ppl, including my new friends' roomates. My room kicks major butt. It is big and awesome. I got posters for it, and a rug, and I HAVE FISH!!! They are black and white and their rocks are pink, so they match my room!!! It's awesome!!! Their names are Merry and Pip, and Sam and Frodo live three doors down (not kidding) in my friend Deb's room. I am NOT a LOTR fanatic, it was just a random moment to name them after movie Hobbits. But soon we are getting 2 more a piece, and mine will be Bert and Kermit, and theirs will be Ernie and Gonzo. So yeah that's cool. Everyone here is nice, but there are alot of yelling homeless ppl by 35...and they are scary.
I work out everyday with Deb, and that's cool...what else...OH I met a guy that has the SAME disease as me!!!! It was cool to talk to him because he has to get the same infusions as me!! Yeah that was cool. So like I said, classes start tomorrow, and I am nervous, and tired, but I am excited to get everything going here. But I miss you ALL!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!
I have to go get my laundry from upstairs now...but if anyone has a nickname suggestion to put on my jersey that is Baptist school appropriate...(no sexgerbil)...then post it K!!!
