Two things-One work related, one music related
At the gift shop where I've been working lately we take orders for stuff to be shipped-customers who don't want to carry stuff home can have it shipped via the Japanese equivalent of UPS. Anyway, I was talking to a customer who wanted to ship things to Saitama (near Tokyo), which takes two days from here. The customer says "two days? It takes that long?" "Yes," I reply, "Saitama is kind of far from here". "Oh...but not as far away as the U.S., huh? Hahaha" he says. Ok...so...I am from the U.S., but...he just assumed that I was an made a joke about it. What if I was Canadian? I thought about saying "actually, I'm from the U.K." to him, but...I let it go.
