Its been a pretty crappy day.

So I've applied to the two jobs in which I will have a better then average chance of getting hired... and its been two weeks without a reply. Lets hope that's not a telling sign about whether I will get a job or not :|

We are only half way through the first semester, and already I'm dying to be finished with school. Next semester is going to be twice as hard, work wise, and I'm going to have to submerge myself in it. Shitty.

Ireland... its the light at the end of my tunnel. I've done some research on this vacation that Jess and I are going on, and I'm so excited! Its going to cost about 2/3 more then I planned, but it will be worth it. So long as I can convince my parents to a) give me a loan or b) co-sign a loan for me.

On a better note, I'm taking a sweet sustainability class that has totally solidified what I want to do with my future and the person I want to become. The class is a little depressing at times, all the readings we do basically tell us we are fucked, but in my mind their are still personal choices that may extend or allow me to live out my numbered days on this earth in comfort. We went on a field trip to my professors new house, which is an earth home with platinum LEED certification, it was awesome. I would love to spend every dime I earn from working (assuming I get a job) converting an old farmhouse and farmland into a sustainable entity.

Some things to look forward too:
-This weekend visiting Matt, hopefully homework free if I stop stalling.
-Halloween, lots of midterms the week after, but I shall have a sweet outfit with the matching housemates
-Sciformal, 10 more volunteer hours, probably another $300 for the tickets, wine and cheese, drinks, hair, dress alterations... but it will be fun
-December 17, christmas vacation
-New years, second year spending a week at the cabin during the winter
-January, New York trip with the school

Lets hope that list keeps me going for a little while.
