My Friday
So I got an email back from Bryant about Family and Consumer Sciences. He says I need to call the Maryland State Department of Education and ask them what I would need because Towson doesn't offer that major so he has no idea what is needed. So I go to the website for MDSDE and there I find that only ONE college in Maryland offers a Family and Consumer Science major. No wonder it's such a critical need area!!! So anyway, after lots of searching I finally find the Chair of Education at University of Maryland Eastern Shore (the only college that offers the degree in MD). So I email her and I'm very surprised by her prompt reply! She tells me that she sent my information to 2 people and together they can discuss my situation and get back to me on information. And while I don't know anymore than I did two days ago I *do* know they're getting back to me...and that's a great thing to know.
So I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet but if I really want this certification I should probably move over there and just get it done. Hopefully my scholarship will still be in place so I'll have some sort of income. And if I decided *not* to get the scholarship I'm probably going to be applying to Prince George's County and Calvert County. And most likely I'll get PG County. Hopefully it won't be too bad. We shall see.
What else... oh... I went to Curves. So I've worked out 2 times this week. Next week will hopefully be 3 times. Maybe eventually I can make it so I work out every week day. We'll see how it fits into my schedule.
After Curves I came home, had some spaghetti and waited for all my teeny bopper shows to come on The-N. RFR was good and I missed the end of O'Grady. But oh well! Then I went to bed. Pretty darn exciting isn't it?? I need more things to do. I'm just not busy enough. Today will be filled with chores at least. Ho hum, ho hum. Gotta go. Be well everyone.
