So, this guy I don't even know was killed early Monday morning at like 1am. he's a friend of Joe's, one of Joe's first friends from college. this friend had some trouble, he was a pot dealer and gotten into some trouble with the police. he was arrested back in 2007 and sentenced to jail time. Joe hadn't really talked to him since....
Until Sunday afternoon when his buddy called him. he wanted to hang out and catch up, Joe decided against it because he doesn't do anything on Sunday's except hang out around the house. Joe said he'd call him later in the week. Joe tried all day Monday to get a hold of him, but his phone was off. We got a call that night from another friend that there was talk the he was dead.
I woke up this morning with a mission to find out what was going on. I found a small blip in the local newspaper that he was killed. The story's been updated recently and it really breaks my heart. He just proposed to his girlfriend on Friday. He was probably on top of the world and he was taken away so cruelly. So, senselessly. He was walking home. He was walking home and someone shot him.
I don't even know the guy and I'm crying.
