well the weekend has come and gone and my time in virginia is almost done. It will be good to get back to austin, but i will definitely miss certain people up here and the nice weather and scenery...but definitely not the god-forsaken east coast traffic.
friday night, i got to witness an amazing feat, as a gentleman at the party I was at beer bonged an ENTIRE 40 oz of Hurricane malt liquor. Mind you, he had been sipping on cups of half some liquid, half BACARDI 151 previous to this death defying maneuver. This was all followed by slurred talk of how great he was (i was inclined to believe him at this point) followed by unconsciousness. I hope this Hurricane doesnt effect him like other Americans. Yes, a bad bad joke i know.
saturday i managed to find a bar in the area playing the Texas-OU game, and after 5 years of sheer frustration, I had the pleasure of watching the Longhorns thrash Bob Stoops and his mighty mighty Sooners the way he had done to us in previous outings. Vince Young has simply become unbelievable as a player....this season will hopefully become a great one for UT. Hook 'em!
sunday was mostly about catching up on sleep and watching tv, mostly law and order (since it has its own 24 hour channel now apparently) and some pro football. the Cowboys won and thats all I needed to see. junk food consumption was at an all time high
tomorrow i am rising bright and early to head up to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to see one of the most hallowed places in American history. As a general history fan and a lover of any Civil War history, its an understatement to say I am excited
well I realize I have yapped on too long and I applaud you if you read all through this. what? LJ cut? oh go fuck yourself!
