ACL 2K5 days 2 and 3...
well forgive me for being lazy but this weekend wore me out and i have just now only summoned the strength to give a magnanimous update on the last two days of that magical weekend that was ACL 2005.
Luckily i have today off from work. I really needed this day off due to the most strenuous last 5 days probably of my life. Not all of them were bad mind you but it was quite a feat considering. On top of the 3 days i was at Zilker Park, standing or walking around in the hot sun for about 9 hours each day, i had also put in a total of 24 hours in 2 DAYS at HEB due to all the hurricane madness, so needless to say, my feet are thankful for this day of rest.
so now, back to the ACL goodness. Just a quick list for my peeps of who i saw on saturday and sunday...
saturday: Aqualung, Built To Spill, Death Cab for Cutie, The Walkmen, Jet, Bloc Party, and Oasis (they played all the good old shit)
sunday: Doves, Kaiser Chiefs, Arcade Fire, The Decemberists, Wilco, Franz Ferdinand, and Coldplay.
so that's it...another fantastic musically mindblowing weekend behind me and lots of great memories to store in the old cabeza. well that's it for now my friends.
