i love my brother
he came to visit me at work today because he overheard me saying there were donkey's at the barn now. hes obsessed with Shrek (ok... so am i...) and he wanted to see if any of them look like 'donkey' from the movie. so he begged my dad to come home from work to bring him... and he did!
and then tonight mom made us dinner.. we each had a cornish game hen (he calls them corny gay hens though). when we have chicken my mom always makes stock out of the bones and leftovers... so after dinner she asked us to all put our bones in the crockpot so she could make soup. my brother goes "but mom, relax. why are you making soup now? aren't we full?" he thought she was planning the second course out of the remains from hte first! i found it funny. it might be a 'had-to-be-there' moment though.
and then last night... i woke up from a nightmare and was crying and it woke him up. so he came and found me in my room and didnt say a word, just rubbed my back until i fell asleep. i used to do that for him after my parents divorced, he had a hard time for about a year... anyway i didnt remember that from last night until i was at work today. hes so sweet.
