JTerm Rocks my Socks
So, JTerm is amazing... Yesterday no one had class so we went into town, watched Center Stage, and partied. Today I had two hours of Portuguese class from 10:30 to 12:30 (yay for sleeping in!), went to lunch, played ice hockey for an hour, studied for an hour or so, had dinner, and went swimming. Now I think we're going to watch Y Tu Mama Tambien. Yeah there's a fair amount of work, plus brazilian movies, presentations, and language tables at lunch, but with only one subject it's not that bad at all. They have these awesome workshops for us to do in the afternoons -- my roommate and I are doing ballet Mon, Tues, Thurs, I'm going skiing on Wed and Fri, and this weekend I'm doing a snow shelters outdoor survival class. Plus they have free movies every Friday in the auditorium -- really good ones like The Shining and Animal House, concerts at the Grille, dances every weekend, and all kinds of other crazy stuff. Everybody is so happy and relaxed. I feel like I came back to a different school than I left. love it.
