So brownfemipower is also kinda through with the massive amount of Audre Lorde 'master's house' quoting being used to justify, well, just about everything. So she's posted just about the whole original speech.
I wanted to post this because her quote “the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house” is probably the most misquoted line by radical/progressives in existence and has been used to justify all sorts of crap that I have real problems believing Lorde would have supported. So here is the speech. Read it, learn it, use your knowledge to challenge anybody who would appropriate Lorde’s meaning to suit their own needs.
