i forgot to say!
at the beginning of the movie there is a shot of the street sign for "franklin" and that is EXACTLY the street where eve lives off of. i used to drive it 2-3 times a week. weird. and i used to see the mulholland drive sign all the time when i got off on la brea.
that movie was so fucking weird. david lynch is so into the idea of doppelgangers. i heart it. one of the characters in twin peaks--i forgot which--is named after someone in alfred hitchcock's vertigo, or the name is a hybrid of two names in that film.
