alexis and i spent her first weekend at my moms. the boys were at their 24 hr visit (i had it backwards) friday night with my sister..
so natalie, rick, mom, alexis and i all went to her very first restaurant! mexican! she slept through most of it..til it came time for me to eat.
other than that..we gave alexis (haha i almost typed natalie) her first real bath. i've been too paranoid and have been sponge bathing her....she loved her bath once we got the water all nice and warm. she's my lil water bug.
got a present from tammy (my moms partner at work who i adore) and also my uncle doug and aunt debby (i guess that means he's talking to me again?! HA). got some cute clothes and diapers (yay i love tammy).
rick and i talked about my sister and the kids. it's been a horrible week for my mom and stepfather. i hate my sister with everything...truly everything i have. she is so damn dysfunctional....i want to puke just thinking about it. it was a good talk though
and we even talked about my dad....which i have NEVER done with my stepfather....it's odd cos i can think about my dad with out crying..but when i go to talk about him, i always always end up crying. i'm not sure why. i think rick felt bad when i started to..but it's just something that kicks in automatically.
heh i wrote and bitched about my moms mom and how stupid she was with alexis today..but you know what...she doesnt matter. =). what a great feeling that is to know that.
anyway, my daughter is still sleeping. im going to go rinse out her bottle, climb into bed and try and call steve before heading to sleep myself.
