I'm in a bit of a creative mood. Got myself a rather expensive (well, it's worth £240) nearly new sewing machine for a bargain price of £50. My first task is to re-upholster my new sofa when I move into my new flat for the same price as I can sell my old one for. Methinks a trip up to my parents and a visit to Birmingham Rag market will be in order for the fabric. Also going to see if I can find a nice black moleskin type fabric and set about trying to make a corset (any volunteer models would be welcome, or suggestions for a good first fabric. It's so much easier trying to sew stuff that's for someone else).
