OK. So a few weeks ago it came to my attention just how out of shape i was. although i had been making an effort to go to the gym every week...a couple times, but i was certainly not pushing myself. I would run till i felt just kinda tired and sorta fool around in the weight room...you know. Well, it prolly wasn't doing much for me. I had gained 10 pounds since i came to school...which is absaloutly disgusting! So yah...in all this, i decided i need to whip my little self into shape.
I have cut out potatoes! VERY HARD! I have only had them like twice in the past month. no chips, no fries, no mashed baked or scalopped potatoes. my favourite food gone down the drain. :(
but it feels good. cause next semester i need to be able to run the mile and a half in 12 minutes for my gym class. So i have been working on it. It took me 18 and a half minutes two weeks ago. I have been running it every day though. I just got back from the gym. I did it in 15 minutes and 34 seconds! I am very proud. I have also lost two pounds in the past two weeks, which isn't much, but it still shows that I am doing someting. I have been actually lifting weights properly, and i just played soccer with nicole for two hours. I may not be there yet, but i am very happy with my progress!
