After much thought, deliberation & a time period of feeling shattered... and being brought back up again....
I've decided that I would like to go back to school and get my Master of Arts in Teaching.
Original ideas were for Early Childhood Education... but I think I have been convinced by my brother-in-law and various children that I should look into Middle School Education.
But what subjects to teach???? I could throw myself into anything really. Math, Science, English, History. Math & Science need teachers badly and I was great in these subjects in school. I can teach Art with my eyes closed... but everybody & their brother wants to be an art teacher.
My downfall is that with a SCAD degree, I have no Math & Science courses and would have to take these to pad out my BA before diving into a Masters program. I have no issue with this though ^__^
So... thoughts on schools. The three in Atlanta that offer a MAT in Middle School Education are Emory, GSU & Mercer.... will have to dig deeper and see which one will be best for me.
