And now back to our regularly scheduled programming
Whew boy this past weekend was a blast. We all had what I thought was a fun time at AWA this year, basically because of the company. We actually got to go to some panels too! We probably could have hit more, but the really interesting ones were early early, and we are tired lazy people. Plus getting 7 people up, moving, and costumed is a bit of a chore. Three of them were in a hotel right near the apartment but they were usually awake and dressed and ready to go before the rest of us. That was sort of surprising cause usually when I tell people that im going to wake them up to get ready at 9, they aren't awake, shower, dressed and ready to go at 9. Bizarre people.
Yesterday we all apparently needed an Ark. For you people who managed to get out of the city to go home or vacation, I'm glad you all left when you did. Especially Dennis and Mish with thier flights. I am very glad they were early cause otherwise we might have been stuck on the connector when it decided to flood. I am really glad we weren't. At least the one good thing about living on a monster hill is that it doesn't flood.
Here's hoping the deluge dies down *crosses fingers*
