[pretty for prom]
hii hii. i know. it had been a long long time since i post. i was really busy since new years with school and MAGIC. even though MAGIC was in february, it got really busy because this quarter i joined my school's charity 'pretty for prom' which collaborated with clark county school district.
basically 'pretty for prom' is for high school girls who cannot afford a prom dress because of the recession so our job is to design a prom dress of their dreams. me and another [student] designer teamed up to design and sew our girl's dress. our girl was nice but she was indecisive. her mom kind of took over. ohh did i forget to mention my girl is 'modest'? she is like two levels above duggar-modest. in the end, she wanted lime-green, floor-length, bell-shaped sleeved, simple yet glittery, semi-poofy dress with a corset back.
me and my designer-mate kind of regretted because 'pretty for prom' literally ate our life last quarter, not to mention that my designer-mate wasn't around for the first two weeks because she was needed to be back in her home land because of her sick grandmother and me in philly for a weekend for a funeral. but seeing our girl loving it was awesome. she was loving it. :]
