Wood

I will be really glad when this semester's over so I don't have anymore 3D art projects. I mean, I love painting and I love figure drawing and basically anything 2D, but I just spent like 2 hours driving to a hobby shop in Lakewood and then Lowe's to get balsa wood, a wood base, wood glue, different kinds of sandpaper, and safety googles for the wood project I have to start tomorrow. $60 later I dropped all of at school so I don't have to balance an armful of wood supplies on a full bus in the morning. And now all I have to do is be terrified of having my limbs chopped off by the saws in the woodshop until this project is finished in two weeks. Did I mention I miss painting class?

Also this morning was like a nightmare. One of those things I'm always afraid of happening came true. I forgot that on Sundays work starts at 8am instead of 9am. Not only that, but there was actually a CHILD there at 8:10. Usually nobody comes in until after 9! But of course the one day I screw the hours up, I'm woken up at 8:10 in the morning by work calling to ask why I am not there yet. On the plus side, it only took me 13 minutes to throw on my clothes and get downtown. And no one was mad. But still, I can't believe I did that! It was so stupid.

Basically I am just procrastinating because I don't want to study for my art history quiz.

school, work
